ZCE is a range of air cooled chillers suitable for outside installation thanks to its IP54 protection. The range is created to fit industrial cooling processes with atmospheric pressure hydraulic circuit. The whole range was designed, manufactured and tested to work using the R410a gas and it consists of a large number of models with cooling power from 7 to 55kW. Moreover, it was optimised to reach high energy efficiency, to offer installation handiness and to guarantee easy mantainance operations, both ordinary and extraordinary. Every model is standardly equipped with large size plastic water tanks and of the manual water loading system with corresponding water level indicator. The range can be equipped with adding options from the catalog such as pumps, inverter, fans etc.
Each model consists of main brands components to offer a high quality product, great efficiency and reliability. However, this range s a low cost one.
The standard colour is RAL9018. On request, it’s possible to have different or specific RAL colours.
COOLING CIRCUIT
The refrigerant circuit is simply manufactured to avoid every kind of vibrations on the welding. In fact, all the copper pipes have a small amount of welding spots to eliminate refrigerant gas leaks. The copper thickness is consistent to realise the best smelting and the perfect welding. The cooling circuit is designed in 3D to be simple and to enable a quick maintenance when necessary.
ELECTRICAL BOARD
The electrical board has quite large sizes and it’s located in a specific area surrounded by its frame. All the cables of the electrical panel are numbered and connected to the terminal box. There is always a wiring diagram to show the connections. Completed with circuit breaker to protect the main parts of the
chiller, the control section consists of a microprocessor card with external interface. Every board is equipped with a lock door device . The standard power supply is 400 ±10%/3/50Hz. Optional: power supply 460 ±10%/3/60Hz
HYDRAULIC MODEL
ZCE is standardly equipped with a hydraulic model composed of:
- plastic water tank designed for atmospheric pressure circuits
- manual water loading with level indicator.
TEST
Every chiller is tested in the testing room.
During this phase, the following operation modes are checked:
- correct assembly of the components
- components fastening
- operation in accordance with safety standards
- electrical test in accordance with Standard EN60204
- operation of the electrical board
- chiller performance under standard conditions
